A graduate of Seattle’s Clarion West, his first book was the Boss Fight Books entry on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. He has written about video games and culture for Fangoria magazine, IGN, Polygon, RogerEbert.com, Rolling Stone, StarWars.com, and Variety, among other publications. He lives in west-central Illinois.
